Advancement in the Earth Observing Systems (EOS) have empowered us to keep watch on the air pollution of our planet from the space. Several polar orbiting and geostationary satellites provide frequent observations on important atmospheric pollutants around the world. These observations have tremendous potential for the global air quality monitoring over cities, rural and remote locations.
SatAQ’s mission is to increase the awareness and usage of air pollution-related data sets from satellites, ground monitors, and models. The appropriate use of satellite observations required professional training and skill development to understand the advantages and limitations of the data sets.
SatAQ provides online and hands-on training to individuals, groups and organizations who want to learn and apply satellite data sets for various applications, which served all living biota on the planet Earth.
